About us
NexoDocs makes documentation templates, video courses and free guides for implementing management systems (information security, artificial intelligence, privacy) and for running projects and portfolios. This page explains who is behind it, how the content is made and what we are not.
Who is behind NexoDocs
NexoDocs is an independent project based in Chile. It was founded by a professional who works as a PMO lead and project manager: the daily job is setting up governance, prioritizing initiatives, tracking risks and changes, and keeping tidy evidence for steering committees and audits.
That practice shapes the products: documents you can fill in and use in the first week, with a worked example next to them, instead of long manuals. We sign the content as "NexoDocs Team" because every piece goes through the same writing and review process described below.
What we make
Word and Excel toolkits for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27701 (with GDPR, LGPD, Chile Law 21.719 and US privacy law annexes) and for setting up a PMO; video courses for staff training; and free guides in six languages that answer concrete questions (which documents a standard requires, what it costs, how to build a risk matrix).
How we make the content
- Our own wording. ISO standards are cited by clause or control number; we never copy their text. The official standards are sold by ISO or your national standards body.
- Laws and dates checked against the official source (for example EUR-Lex for the EU, Chile's National Congress Library or Brazil's Planalto), with the date of the check.
- Every toolkit includes a complete worked example for a fictitious company, so you can see what a finished document looks like.
- Versions in other languages are adapted to the country (national standards body, regulator, terminology), not translated word for word.
How we check it
- Every toolkit file is opened in real Word and Excel; we check formulas, cross-references, fill-in fields and that the examples calculate correctly.
- An automatic filter blocks wording that promises certification or a passed audit, or presents compliance as a sure outcome.
- Videos are transcribed with speech recognition and compared with the script before publishing.
- In the guides, the visible date changes only when the substance changes, and we note what changed.
How we use artificial intelligence
We use AI substantially and say so: to draft and translate, adapt guides to each country, create example images and narrate videos with a synthetic voice (each video says so). The AI works under fixed rules and goes through the automatic checks above.
The German, French, Italian and Portuguese versions are reviewed by AI in several layers and tested in Office; they are not reviewed by a native speaker. If something reads oddly in your language, please tell us.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with ISO, IEC or PMI, or with any certification body, and we do not perform certification audits. The templates help organize the work but do not by themselves guarantee certification or compliance with any law. Content about privacy laws is for information and is not legal advice.
Contact and corrections
Write to hola@nexodocs.com. First replies may come from an AI assistant, which passes cases that need it to the person in charge. If you find a mistake in a guide, template or course, let us know: we fix it and note it on the page.
