Frequently asked questions
Does it include the text of ISO/IEC 27701?
No. The toolkit contains templates and guidance written by NexoDocs; the standard is sold by ISO or your national standards body.
Do I need ISO 27001 first?
No. Since the 2025 edition ISO/IEC 27701 is a standalone management system standard. The toolkit includes a cross-mapping if you also run an ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS.
Does it guarantee GDPR compliance or certification?
No. It organizes the work and the evidence, but compliance and certification depend on your implementation and the auditor. The legal annexes are orientation, not legal advice.
